Where yield actually comes from

Yield is always someone's cost. It comes from trading fees, from borrowers paying interest, from protocol emissions, or from a subsidy that will end. If you cannot name the payer, you are the payer.

An advertised APY that is far above the rest of the market is a statement about risk, not about skill.
