Reading the marketLesson 1 / 36 min

Price is not size

A coin at $0.001 is not cheap and a coin at $60,000 is not expensive. Price alone is meaningless without supply. Market capitalisation • price multiplied by circulating supply • is the number that tells you how large something actually is.

When someone argues an asset will reach the price of another, ask what market cap that implies. The answer is often absurd.
